Dutch rockers BLACK NAZARETH give us another taste of their self-titled album, Black Nazareth, with their third video, ‘Cold as Stone.’ The full-length album will be released on July 8th, 2022 via Wormholedeath worldwide.
The band speaking about the song, said: “The song is about a dark side of life. We feel cornered and don’t see the light. Struggling day by day with who you are. Depression.
It depicts the burden of what depression brings along. I wrote these lyrics because one of my closest friends is struggling with depression for over 9 years now (and maybe even much longer). In these years he has been from days where he would stay in bed all day to days where he would attempt suicide, using drugs, and drown himself in booze. He wanted to see the good things in life and make the best of it, but every time when he tried to turn the page in his life something happened that threw him right back into the darkness.
It is written from a first-person perspective and I used terms like how the body is deteriorating as a figure of speech to show how heavy it is to cope with depression. In the second verse, I’m depiction a scene where I’m lost and I just can’t find the way out of all this mess. And in the choruses, I’m asking the mother to help, as your mother is the person who made you and put you in this world
After releasing all of the songs as singles, the band felt it was time to gather all of the singles into a mini album, along with a previously unreleased song.

Swedish Melodic Metal Sensation MILE Sign With Wormholedeath & Release “Into the Fire” Single
Swedish Melodic Metal sensation MILE have signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their new upcoming album “A Shattered Mind”. More info coming soon!
MILE is a melodic metal band from Sweden that has a modern sound mixing heavy metal and hard rock, combining heavy riffs and attractive melodies. The band started to take form in 2013 through Marcus “Masken” Karlsson (vocals), Fredrik Palm (guitar), and Marcus Folke (bass) when their old band “Cabinett” broke up. Dennis Kjellgren (drums) and David “Dave” Wallberg (guitar) were soon to follow and join this new project that was to be called “MILE”. A name that is simple to remember, does not put the band in any specific category of music, and can represent the distance the music can take you. They rehearsed and wrote songs for a whole year before they started playing live because they knew what quality they wanted to show right from the start. In 2015 one of the founding members, bass player Marcus Folke left the band and the group was complemented by Niklas “Nike” Tidholm, who added an extra dimension to their live performance.
Their debut album “Lost” was released in December 2015 and was streamed over 1 000 000 times during its first year. In September 2016 the band released their first music video together with the single “Dressed in Black”. Their second album “The World in Focus” was released in January 2018 and had, just as its predecessor, been streamed over 1 000 000 times long before its anniversary. It also contained the hit single “Crying in Your Sleep” which ended up on several major playlists on Spotify. The album was followed by a release tour in Brazil before the band got back home for the Swedish festival summer. The band always gives 110% on stage and never leaves the crowd unaffected. They are ready to keep on growing and show the world that MILE is a force to be reckoned with.
The band has played festivals where giants like Twisted Sister and Europe have been present but MILE have also been supporting Dynazty, Cyhra, Smash into Pieces, Implode, Ammotrack, and Mean Streak. In 2019 they went on a successful European tour as support for Corroded right before the pandemic struck. Today MILE is closing in on 10 000 000 streams on Spotify and has through hard work been able to keep the steam up while preparing the upcoming third album.
In 2019 the band joined forces with Kingart Music Management to reach new heights, and now they are happy to join the Wormholedeath family!

Controversial Hard-Line Vegan Combo The Way Of Purity has announced that the new album is now mixed and mastered.
The record titled “The Order Of The Deep Roots” contains 9 new tracks and establishes the birth of their magic cult with its release.
The aim of the record is solely for propaganda to find members for the cult that have to be Vegan and have an inclination for magic arts and rituals in order to use superior celestial and Qliphotic forces in favour of animals. The approach is therefore even more extreme as the combo has no interest in the market, trends, success or whatever bands look for.

Biography
Irish quartet The Risen Dread (Colum – Drums, Will – Guitar, Mat – Bass and Marco – Vocal) have had a busy few years. Since forming in 2018, the band were invited to support Malevolent Creation, embarked on their own headline European tour and during the pandemic allocated time to finish their debut album ‘Night Hag’ which is set for release on January 28th 2022. Produced by the band, recorded by Josh Robinson at the JSR Studio in Belfast in June 2021, and mixed and Mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at the Kohlekeller Studio in Germany in August 2021. ‘Night Hag’ is a concept album with mental illness as its central theme, with all the tracks focusing on a particular illness or a historical figure that had multiple disorders. The titular Night Hag is mentioned throughout the album with the final track, featuring Brazilian composer Renato Zanuto, of the eleven-song opus acting as a means of pulling the themes together. The band’s first single, “White Night”, featured Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser and received its premieres on main radios like Kerrang! Radio in the UK and 89 A Radio Rock in Brazil. Its video clip was premiered on Midlands Metalheads.
The second single “Silent Disease” received an exclusive radio play premiere on Primordial Radio in the UK and its video single received an exclusive premiere on Metal Injection.

Hailin from Norway, Dream Metal-Rock combo GRAULAR have signed with Wormholedeath Records a licensing deal for the reissue of their extraordinary EP “Ashes” due for re-release on November the 12th, 2021.
With melodic guitar riffs, fat chords and an aggressive rhythmic section, combined with haunting vocals ranging from silk soft to a fierce punch, Graular combines musical impulses to perfect their modern take on rock. Their lyrics reflect upon political issues, mainly war, environment and capitalism, as well as current taboos such as alcoholism, narcissism and suicide.
The group is heavily influenced by bands such as Caligula’s Horse, Tesseract, Dorje and Haken, to name a few.

About “Ashes” EP
Ashes EP is lyrically a concept piece that starts off with a macro perspective of the problems of humankind, narrowing it down with each song until we reach the average person’s suffering and frustration. Humans will always be the center, like there will always be destruction in this world. Zooming out from “street view” like you’re scrolling on Google Maps until you’re just floating in space, observing the Earth, you notice the clouds have turned dark red, and gigantic, grey mushroom clouds are appearing all over the globe, pulsating. As you’re back on the ground, walking in ash-covered ruins, surrounded by a forest of black smoke, an intimidating and deafening engine sounding like a hundred explosions going off all at once, rumbles through the air at great speed, introducing the second track, ‘Spitfire’. Dedicated to the flying agents of death, with the machine bird’s perspective of the battlefield, the song also touches upon mankind’s inhuman tolerance of violence, as waging war for some egoistic cause is just another day to day job. But what truly lies behind all egoistic decisions is human nature, which the third track ‘Dark Triad’ exposes as it dissects the emotions of a narcissist. This journey of human recklessness has now gone through both third, and second person perspective, and for this EP’s last track, ‘Collide’ is a scream of despair after having lost a loved one, and the feeling of being safe, and that those around you are safe, is just not there anymore, as the unimaginable happens – and the lyrics go: “All harmonies collide”. You end up being left with the remains, the ashes of those dearest to you.

Hello fans, friend and metal supporters around the world. This is HEL’S THRONE from Germany and we are proud to announce you great news that we never expected some weeks ago. Some of you might already know that we finished our first album called “Ravens Flight”. In this way we want to say thanks to Lars Rettkowitz of Freedom Call for making this incredible production possible and for his patience during the long recording sessions. We enjoyed every second at Emperial-Sound Studios. With this album we want to take you to a journey through the Nordic mythology especially to the tales of our name-giving goddess HEL, the mistress of eternity.

“Ravens Flight” Album Teaser
Formed in 2018, the German Symphonic Metal band, HEL’S THRONE, started to play with a set of cover songs in the German club scene. After receiving great responses from the audience they decided to write their own songs and to make the next step to find their identity as a band.
HEL’S Throne creates in their music a brilliant balance between being heavy & powerful and on the other side epic and orchestral. The amazing voice of front singer Bekka gives every song its unique character.
In 2020, after finishing a couple of songs, HEL’S THRONE was contacting Lars Rettkowitz of Emperial-Sound Studios for producing their Debut album “Ravens Flight”. What followed were hard and inspiring record sessions and Lars helped to lift up the sound of HEL’S THRONE to the next level. As a special guest we found Christian “Litze” Litzba to take over the growl and dark voices of the album.After finishing the studio sessions the band was absolutely impressed by his incredible voice, so they decided to offer him a full membership in HEL’S THRONE.
In September 2021 he accepted it and now we can introduce “Litze” as the newest member in the HEL’S THRONE family.
Now the studio work is done and the band can proudly present their first album “Ravens Flight”

‘No Limit’ was inspired through conversations that were had with several people throughout lockdown in 2020. It deals with addiction, whether this be alcohol, sexual, drugs or any others. In the song we deal with both the urge and temptation to perform certain acts or partake in illicit activities and the feeling of regret and the aftereffects. Throughout the song we feel that as a band we are the voice in an individual’s head asking them not to do it.

The album title is in fact confirmed as “The Order Of The Deep Roots” which is also the cult’s name.
Bass Player Without Name stated: “Everything depends on how the cult will develop but if we will be very busy with it, this could even be our last album, as a music project. The situation of this world has made us think that we need to create a safe “place” for all the people that deserve and want a family. Actually the album was fully recorded and produced by Uwe who had played all instruments on this album. Maurice, who was busy in another band, was invited to listen and to be part of the arrangement process. Phil made the vocals and the production time for the album was roughly 3 weeks, from starting in the morning at 5:00am to 6:00pm in the evening. After production the side project evolved to a full band as written in the band bio. “Into the Fray” was reviewed by all band members and the final mix was arranged and the CD released. Short time later, Carlo contacted us and now we have signed up with your company.

In early 2018 when Pete Worrall, guitarist for Plague and the Decay, began writing new material for the aforementioned band, little did he know how much the songs would alter his focus. The ideas were more melodic, more infectious and more grandiose without any of the intensity being compromised. It did not take long for the songs to manifest themselves into a brand new project, The Spectre Beneath. Knowing Plague and the Decay’s drummer, Consta Taylor, had the flair, the skills and technique to play the music’s more intricate elements, Pete brought him on board. Vocalist, L Lockser, was the culmination of an eighteen month search for a suitable singer. Her eclectic mix of influences meant she was not predisposed to Metal’s rubber stamp approach, a perfect fit for what Pete had in mind. With a rich, warm tone coupled with both power and subtlety in equal measure, L’s voice and unique phrasing added a depth and uniqueness to the band’s sound. “There aren’t many female vocalists in metal that sound like L”.
The Spectre Beneath expands on the blueprint from their debut album and once again creates a diverse yet heavy and exciting collection of songs. After the Covid smoke had cleared for the first time, the band picked up where they left off. Fan demand for a follow-up to the 2018 EP became very high. In late 2020, Cult of Scarecrow went back into the studio to record their first full album, titled ‘Tales of the Sacrosanct Man’. Again, Ace Zec took over the production (never change a winning team). The album contains 8 songs, with 50 minutes of pure metal, which is situated somewhere between old-school epic metal and melodic doom, with a touch of grunge and a pinch of thrash metal.
In April 2021, the band signed a deal with WormHoleDeath Records for the worldwide release of ‘Tales of the Sacrosant Man’ (digital and physical).

Band Statement:
S.H.E’s debut album “Never Belong” is an introspective progressive rock album that stands out with its’ nordic melancholy and dark atmosphere.
It is an album about estrangement, detachment and self reflection. It tells a story about the process of healing after being broken down by personal failures, severed relationships and weltschmerz.
Never Belong contemplates feeling like an outsider.
In 2018 Tom Pohjola came up with the idea of making a full-length album and got his friends Joel Huttunen and Sami Perttunen on board with the project. It was clear from the get-go that the album would be heavily influenced by old school progressive rock and that it would have a clear theme. At first the album was about breaking free from a destructive cycle of life. Later on in 2020 Touko Lehenkari joined the band as a singer and rewrote the lyrics and the album became more about feeling like an outcast hence the album’s title is “Never Belong”.
After a couple of recording sessions and a guitar feature by Jere Suominen the album was finally finished in late 2020.

Engraver was founded in Ossi (Sassari) by guitarist Marco Scanu (Spell Of Decay, ex-Icy Steel) and vocalist Giuseppe Fancellu (Unholy Impurity) in 2019. The line up was then completed by Santino Derudas (Unholy Impurity) on Bass, Nicola Piras (Ganondorf, Arcade Cassette, When Ashes Are Rising) on Drums and Riccardo Chessa (Ganondorf) as the second guitar player.
The Band focused immediately on writing music and finally entered the studio in March 2020 to record their first EP “ BEHIND” which was completed only during summer 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and national lockdown.
Engraver’s music can be described as Thrash Metal with Death and Black influences, the themes covered by the Band are gore, psychology, crime stories and serial killers.

“Memento Mori” is the 1rst single taken from the band’s upcoming self-titled album Memento Mori.
Special appearance is made by the band’s friend, sound engineer and co-producer Juan Pablo Calvo (from the local band Time’s Forgotten) who landed a short piece of piano solo.

«Memento Mori» music was written by Anton Darusso and lead guitar player Andres Castro together in order to enclose and capture the raw emotion and neoclassical feel that reflects band´s power, showing band´s skills and transmitting raw and agressive modern power metal with a very unique style and sound. The song is about the actual meaning of the words «Memento Mori» — the simple reminder that we all gonna die soon and that we cannot think of ourselves as immortal beings, comparing often ourselves with God. It is a real introspection in personal fears and thoughts about Life and Death. Scream Collision are a Greek band formed in Athens in October 2017. In their first steps they played covers of Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal in a number of music stages. Their influences are varied but mainly come from Hard Rock and Metal. After a while they felt that it was time to compose their own music, and on May 31st of 2019 they release their first single “Rolling a Dice”.
Presently they have completed their debut full-length album, entitled «Memories». This first album incorporates elements of music that has influenced them over the years, forming their own sound. It is a loose concept album, about a man battling mental turmoil and breakdown and emerging victorious for a bit of an uplift towards the end. The main concept connects the songs of the album, but every song is a bit different and has its own character.

“Ancient Roots was created one late night filled with improvised riffing and beer. We thought it to be suitably short and evil as an appetizer for the Brutal Slaughter album main course. Thoughts of religious dogma and hatred was the starting point of this song as it formed itself into this twisting art piece. The resemblance of old roots was striking too both Joel and Börna and the story of the all knowing, all evil ancient roots emerged. Later the other band members put their own dark twist to it and the song reached the point to where the dark lord himself gave two horns up \m/“

“Breath the darkness is one of the darkest song from the debut album “From there to Oblivion”; the track features a brand new mix and the drums are played and recorded by our new member Anders“.
Carnage Alpha is a metal act from Sweden and behind it stands two guys from the bands “Reek” “Fimbultyr” “Cynical Existence” amongst other bands. The duo plays and writes everything themselves and shares vocals and lyric duties. The music is a mix of melodic death metal with hints of other genres as well. 3 words can be used to describe the band. Melodic, Agressive and Atmospheric. If we have to compare with other bands then maybe Dark Tranquillity,In Flames (earlier stuff) but with a bit more synthesizers. The debut will be called “From there to oblivion” and depending on the release format , it will consist of somewhere between 6 and 10 tracks.

GRIND is the first single from INCEPTION Album, it is a song that introduces Alchemia’s music with a modern approach, presents versatility in the voice, as it contains extremes between low and high pitch, the lyrics talks about conflicts between our conscious and the unconscious, where one side blames the other for allowing oneself to be placed in unfavorable situations, it has to do with our daily choices and how we mature and grow through frustrations, pain and suffering. This song was chosen for the first video clip because it unites several sound elements and presents the band to the listener.
Victor Piiroja: The videoclip production was really a fun adventure, it took 12 hours of hard work with our good friends from Caxao Produtora in Sao Paulo Brazil. We’ve put a big team together to create a beautiful and macabre horror story. Once again we had the honour to work with the amazing artist Coveiro Maldito (the king of freak show) and he is our 6th element, we love his work and his presence in the video is really impressive! The makeup was a masterpiece made it by the amazing Meinside, she is our soulmate in the makeup. The lightning and photography were developed by Jota Rugal and he has the unique and dark vision that we need, and Xtudo is the man behind the lenses, edition and post production, he believes in our music and did a beautiful job so mission accomplished.

Heavy, black and death metal, film soundtracks, classical orchestration, dramatic symphonic elements and gothic synthesizers, with lyrics about reflection, conscience, mental imprisonment, phobias and psychological disorders, which exorcise deep terrors of the mind. This is Alchemia, a horror metal group from São Paulo / SP (BRA), created in 2018 by Victor Hugo Piiroja (vocals) and completed by Rodrigo Maciel (guitar), FIFAS (bass), Alex Cristopher (drums) and Wally D’Alessandro (keyboards).
The debut album, “Inception”, was recorded at Fusao e Carbonos studios, produced by Piiroja, in collaboration with Ricardo Campos (Sunseth Midnight), who co-produced the vocals. Mixing and mastering were handled by renowned Danish producer and audio engineer Tue Madsen, who has worked with Rob Halford, Babymetal and Moonspell, among others. The album features dramatic symphonic elements and stunning Gothic synthesizers, arranged and expanded by British composer Jon Phipps, who has created virtual orchestrations for Moonspell, Amorphis, Angra and Dragonforce. “We have many influences on ‘Inception’, from heavy metal, black metal, death metal, film tracks and classical orchestration. At the same time, it presents its own identity”, noted the multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Victor Hugo Piiroja, creator of the project .
In line with the aesthetics of terror in its music, Alchemia presents itself with theatrical and morbid and macabre visual elements on stage, in collaboration with the Brazilian performance artist Coveiro Maldito.
Brazilian artist Carlos Fides, who has illustrated art for bands like Kamelot, Evergrey, Edu Falaschi, was responsible for the disturbing cover art for “Inception”, which is inspired by soundtracks from horror films, dark music and contemporary metal. From conception to completion of the songs, all details have been carefully refined. “I decided to take the time I thought necessary to settle all the details, from composition to mastering,” explained Piiroja. “Now we will start the phase of promoting the work and spreading the concept, theme and music of Alchemia”, he concluded.

BELLE MORTE: Launch “Broken Things” Lyric Video
Belarus Symphonic Metal discovery BELLE MORTE are proud to unleash the lyric video for “Broken Things”, track taken from their upcoming album “Crime of Passion” due for release via Wormholedeath worldwide.
“Crime of Passion” is inspired by John Fowles’s novel “The Collector”. It tells a coherent story which started as an unhealthy obsession and stalking and resulted in murder, both from the side of the murderer and his victim. Musically the album has more complicated arrangements, a lot of djent/progressive and even some black metal elements and a very diverse material.
SILENT VERDICT: Sign With Wormholedeath And Announce Debut Album “Condemned”
Fast forward to 2017, two of the original members Ricky Magnusson and Johan Schill felt it was time to reboot the band to find an outlet for their Death Metal ideas – based on influences from bands like Arch Enemy, Lamb of God and Kreator to name a few.
As early as spring 2017, they found their new addition to bass guitar; Mattias Gunnarsson. Ricky and Mattias were at this point already well acquainted with each other since they had been playing together in another band. During this period, they had developed a good chemistry in their playing and writing. For this reason, Mattias became a most welcome addition to Silent Verdict.
While the band continued working on the musical parts to the upcoming EP “Azrael”, they now needed a vocalist to fill in the ranks. After checking out a handful of applicants for the spot as a vocalist, the band eventually found Mattias Kulas, who fit in perfectly with the kind of vocalist the band had in mind. Mattias Kulas has a background as a vocalist in the Swedish metal band Eroded.
With the new constellation now being complete and the new songs being thoroughly polished and pre-produced, the band decided it was time to hit the studio. They proceeded to book an appointment with HoboRec in Lund, Sweden, to record the EP “Azrael”. At the end of September 2017 and recorded it which was released in November that same year.
During the summer of 2018, the band was contacted by the record label Wormholedeath and was presented with a record deal, which they later signed in March 2019. They proceeded record their first full length album ”Condemned” with Jonathan Mazzeo (The Grid Europe) as producer in Pistoia, Italy. The album is scheduled to release in spring 2021.

EVERLUST, gothic rock/melodic metal band from Latvia, will release their sophomore full length album “Diary of Existence” on May 7th, 2021 via Wormholedeath on all digital platforms worldwide.
Band Comment:
The album will consist of 11 compositions, which are like different diary entries. The album describes the feelings of a person writing a diary. The mood is mostly melancholic in songs like “Land of Dreams”, “I Never Was” and “Alone”, which are heartbreak ballads about loneliness and unrequited love, even a little mystical “Despair” filled with more aphetic feels. There is also energy driven philosophical song “Running” which is about being alone in a crowd and running from oneself, lustful song “Everlust” and bipolar “Destroyer”. The band also made their version of famous Sam Smith’s song “Writings on the Wall”. “Diary of Existence” will also feature a duet song “Entwined” with Finnish band’s LAMORI front man Matias Juselius, which is also a romantic ballad about sick relationships.

BAND COMMENT ABOUT THE ALBUM:
Remote Control is ARCHED FIRE’s first album. We were working on it throughout the year 2020. Most of the time was spent on writing songs. We created new music, wrote lyrics and developed some ideas and concepts from the band’s early days. The music is straight-forward and in-your-face; speed metal meets heavy metal. A lot of the songs are dealing with themes like power and control on different levels and from different angles – thus, Remote Control. It’s a fitting title also because we often had to co-operate from distance (for obvious reasons).
COMMENT ABOUT SIGNING TO WHD:
We’re happy and honored to sign with WormHoleDeath. When we first started writing and recording the album, we were basically doing it for ourselves, just to tie up some loose ends from years ago. However, when it was ready, we knew that such a great metal record deserves to be heard all over the world. WormHoleDeath will make it happen!

SCHYSMA is the creation of keyboardist Martina Bellini in late 2012; joined by the drummer Luca Solina and the virtuoso guitarist Vladimiro Sala, on 29 September 2012 Imperfect Dichotomy, first EP, was released. On October 2012 Schysma signed for French label Optiasso for promotion and release all over Europe. In late 2012 the band started an Italian mini tour to promote the EP. In early 2013 Sinners, Supreme Solution and a new song of next full lenght are included in the soundtrack of series “Puzzle” : it is broadcasted on LA3 TV on Sky, pay per view Tv. On April 2013 “Lost in the maze” Video Clip was out. On May 2013 Martina Bellini signed her endorser deal with CME pro, for CME UF50 classic master keyboard and with KORG, for X50. “Imperfect Dichotomy” EP was broadcasted on radio, expecially in South America and Mexico. In December 2013 Luca Solina became Istanbul Xist Cymbals endorser. From October 2013 the band was in studio to record the first full length “Idiosyncrasy” and played in Czech Republic. In july 2014 the band signed with Revalve Records for the release of “Idiosyncrasy” and Schysma released the first single and video clip “Time man”. In August 2015 “Idiosyncrasy” was released in Japanese version and in October 2015 the band presented the full length in a 7 days Uk tour. In 2016 Eliana Sanna joined the band as new main vocals. In 2018 Fabrizio Gaffuri entered the band as new bass player, adding nu-metal influences. The band started working on the new album, Schysma, which has a different and more biting sound, shorter and catchier songs, with more electronic elements. The album was completed in 2020.

“We are extremely proud to share that we have signed with WormHoleDeath label, and our first full length album “Crime of Passion” will be released soon. This is a big step for us, as we’ve spent over 2 years crafting it track by track. “The album is called “Crime of Passion’ and it’s inspired by John Fowles’s novel “The Collector”. It tells a coherent story which started as an unhealthy obsession and stalking and resulted in murder, both from the side of the murderer and his victim. The idea of having a full-length album appeared when we were working on the EP. We had enough material for it at that moment, but at the same time didn’t want to rush and really wanted it to be well-thought and professional, so it took us 2 years to complete it. In general “Crime of Passion” has a way darker sound and vibes, compared to our first EP “Game on”. The story we tell here doesn’t have a happy ending, so you are witnessing how the situation unfolds, getting more and more intense and having a tragic finale.
Musically “Crime of Passion” has more complicated arrangements, a lot of djent/progressive and even some black metal elements and a very diverse material. For example, “Beauty meant to kill” doesn’t have guitars at all, relying heavily on powerful symphonic parts with electronic instruments and percussion. “If only you knew” has a lot of prog metal and some djent elements. Guitars became heavier and more sophisticated, especially in “My Little Demon” and “Beauty and the Beast”. We are using a lot of different elements on the “Crime of passion” and we made it all sound consistent and not trivial at the same time. Each element used reveals different nuances, making it all sound like a mono rock-opera, with leitmotivs and instrumental parts, which are there not for the sake of being there, but for the sake of strengthening presence effect, shedding more light on the emotions of the characters.”
